No longer present. When this page was last checked, on September 7, 2026, this guidance was not found. The finding remains on the ledger and the archived evidence below is preserved — guidance taken down after drawing notice is itself part of the record.

The page contains explicit directives for paid media: segmented audiences (Democratic primary voters, voters 18+, seniors with inconsistent voting records), specific channels (broadcast all markets, streaming/digital, search), and prescribed message themes attacking an opponent or promoting a candidate. This is not voter-facing persuasion or a standard press kit; it is guidance intended for an outside group to execute advertising, meeting the definition of red-boxing.

Quoted evidence — verbatim spans from the page

  • Minnesota Democratic primary voters need to see (on broadcast in all markets. And then also with an expansive statewide streaming and digital audience of voters 18+ and up) that with the unprecedented threat that Trump and Republicans are to the country, Peggy Flanagan is not up to the job
Directive language specifying audience segment, media channels (broadcast, streaming, digital), and message theme — classic red-box media-buy instruction.
  • Democrats over the age of 65 with an inconsistent record of voting in the Democratic Primary need to read specific information about the date and hours of Primary Election Day Voting, information about Early Voting in the Primary Election, and information about where to find their polling place and early voting locations. Equally important, they need to read that Angie Craig has a history of working to protect Social Security and Medicare
Segmented audience (age 65+, inconsistent primary voters) with prescribed content and action — guidance for targeted paid communication.
  • People searching Peggy Flanagan need to know about this as well.
Directive for search-targeted ad content, indicating media-buy planning.

On the Issues
Minnesota Democratic primary voters need to see (on broadcast in all markets.  And then also with an expansive statewide streaming and digital audience of voters 18+ and up) that with the unprecedented threat that Trump and Republicans are to the country, Peggy Flanagan is not up to the job and has repeatedly let down Minnesota families.

Proof point 1
As Lieutenant Governor, Flanagan had a pattern of not showing up to work even on the most important issues. Over six years, Flanagan held about half of required meetings on committees she oversees regarding homelessness and capitol security, which was called a “dereliction” of duty. Tim Walz entrusted Flanagan to take the lead on housing programs found to have rampant fraud despite earlier warnings. With Trump and Republicans attacking our democracy every day, we need a Senator who shows up and knows how to fight back.

Proof point 2
When it mattered most, Tim Walz entrusted Flanagan to take the lead on housing programs found to have rampant fraud. Despite two audits warning that Minnesota’s social services programs were vulnerable to fraud, under Flanagan’s tenure, hundreds of millions in taxpayer dollars meant for children and hardworking families were stolen. And then she blamed the problem on others. Republicans have said they would be happy to run against Flanagan in November and Democrats in Minnesota are worried that Peggy Flanagan could “absolutely lose to a Republican given all the fraud that took place during her time as Lieutenant Governor.” With Trump and Republicans attacking our democracy every day, we need a Senator who can fight back and beat them, and Peggy Flanagan isn’t up for the job.

It is important that Minnesota Democratic Primary voters hear from real Minnesotans expressing their belief that with all that’s at stake – Trump’s chaos, corruption, and cruelty – we simply can’t afford Peggy Flanagan who is not up to the job. People searching Peggy Flanagan need to know about this as well.

Democrats over the age of 65 with an inconsistent record of voting in the Democratic Primary need to read specific information about the date and hours of Primary Election Day Voting, information about Early Voting in the Primary Election, and information about where to find their polling place and early voting locations.  Equally important, they need to read that Angie Craig has a history of working to protect Social Security and Medicare, to eliminate taxes on Social Security, and to lower prices for prescription drugs for seniors.

Proof Point
Angie led the charge to eliminate federal taxes on Social Security benefits and fought to make sure the pensions of more than a million Americans are fully guaranteed.  She has stood up to Republicans’ threats to gut Medicare and led the charge to lower prescription drug prices for seniors, cap the cost of insulin and penalize drug companies for jacking up prices.
