The page contains a 'Summary' section that prescribes specific media channels (broadcast, mail, streaming/digital), target audiences segmented by demographics and geography, and message themes including contrast with an opponent. This is not voter-facing persuasion but rather instructions for an outside group to execute paid advertising, meeting the definition of red-box guidance.

Quoted evidence — verbatim spans from the page

  • All Hispanic voters and Non-Hispanic men who voted in the 2026 Dem Primary district-wide, with an emphasis on communicating with older, consistent Dem voters in Guadalupe and Wilson counties, need to see English and Spanish language ads on broadcast highlighting Johnny Garcia’s background and primary runoff voting information.
Segmented audience with explicit channel (broadcast) and language instructions, typical of media-buy guidance.
  • All Hispanic voters and Non-Hispanic men who voted in the 2026 Dem Primary district-wide, with an emphasis on communicating with older, consistent Dem voters in Guadalupe and Wilson counties, need to read English and Spanish language mail highlighting Johnny Garcia’s background and primary runoff voting information, including comparisons showing why Johnny is the only Democrat voters can trust to stand up for working families.
Directive for mail piece with specific audience, geography, and message framing.
  • All Hispanic voters and Non-Hispanic men who voted in the 2026 Dem Primary district-wide, with an emphasis on communicating with older, consistent Dem voters in Guadalupe and Wilson counties, need to see English and Spanish language ads on streaming and digital platforms highlighting Johnny Garcia’s background and primary runoff voting information, including comparisons showing why Johnny is the only Democrat voters can trust to stand up for working families.
Further channel-specific (streaming/digital) instruction with same audience and message, reinforcing red-boxing pattern.

Voter Information:

Early voting: Monday, May 18th to Friday, May 22nd, 2026*

Note: This is a much shorter early voting window than many voters are familiar with. Additionally, there is no weekend early voting.

Runoff Election Day: Tuesday, May 26th, 2026

Overview:

Voters in Texas' new 35th Congressional District who voted in the March 3rd Democratic Primary need to read and see online that Johnny Garcia can fight for us because he is one of us. Garcia was raised by a working mom in our community, and after working his way through community college, he joined the Sheriff’s Office to keep us safe. Garcia knows the kinds of challenges our families are up against, and in Congress he will bring a focus to the real issues we face, like making healthcare more affordable, making our economy work for all of us, and taking on Trump and Abbott.

Johnny Garcia is the bold leader we need to take a stand against Donald Trump and Greg Abbott; in Congress Garcia will fight against Trump and Abbott’s dangerous policies that are hurting and dividing our community. While Johnny Garcia is the Democrat voters can count on to take on Abbott and Trump, voters need to know they cannot count on Maureen Galindo. When it mattered most –voting to stand up to Trump, Abbott, and MAGA Republicans– Galindo didn’t even vote in 2022 or 2024. Galindo can’t be trusted in Congress because she has publicly stated she would run as an independent if she thought she could win. We need real Democrats in Congress, not Galindo.

Summary:

All Hispanic voters and Non-Hispanic men who voted in the 2026 Dem Primary district-wide, with an emphasis on communicating with older, consistent Dem voters in Guadalupe and Wilson counties, need to see English and Spanish language ads on broadcast highlighting Johnny Garcia’s background and primary runoff voting information.

Garcia was raised by a working mom, and his family often relied on SNAP benefits to make sure he and his sister had food on the table. That is why Garcia will always fight to protect the social programs that keep our children from going hungry.

Garcia is the bold leader we need to take a stand against Donald Trump and Greg Abbott; in Congress Garcia will fight against Trump and Abbott’s dangerous policies that are hurting and dividing our community.

Johnny is focused on building an economy that works for everyone. Johnny will fight for good-paying jobs, small businesses, and lower costs for families, by investing in workforce training and infrastructure, and standing up for fair wages and strong worker protections.

Johnny is locally endorsed by the working men and women of Texas AFL-CIO COPE and the public school teachers of Texas AFT.

Galindo wants to go to Congress but she doesn’t even vote – she didn’t even vote in 2022 or 2024 to try to stop Trump and Abbott. And Galindo said she would run as an independent if she thought she could win. She’s also made disparaging remarks towards our local unions– referring to them as bootlickers. We need real Democrats in Congress, not Galindo.
