His stock portfolio has outperformed Warren Buffett’s and Bill Gates’. He broke the law by failing to report trades by him and his wife worth up to $1.5 million for almost a year, including in companies he’s supposed to oversee. He voted against a congressional stock trading ban. As a business-owner, he abused the Medicare wheelchair benefit and was fined $80,000 for doing so – now in Congress, he’s cutting Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. He voted for the largest Medicaid cut in history — threatening to strip over 300,000 Pennsylvanians of their insurance and close rural health centers across the state. This will make it harder for rural Pennsylvanians to get care, even if they are not on Medicaid, and will hurt children and seniors in nursing homes. He backed a plan to end seniors' guaranteed Medicare benefits and voted for a bill the Trump Administration said was a “backdoor for privatizing Social Security.” Voters should also know he’s been a strong supporter of data centers in our local communities: He is promoting Pennsylvania as a hub for massive AI data centers, called them an “incredible opportunity” while meeting with tech companies.
