Jamie says Western North Carolinians deserve steady leadership in crisis. When Hurricane Helene devastated this area, Jamie opened his home and donated food from his farm to help those who had lost everything. In Congress, he will fight to secure every dollar of federal recovery funding that Western North Carolina was promised, he’ll hold FEMA accountable, and make sure poor disaster recovery like Helene never happens again. Over $100 million in pre-approved disaster cuts was frozen, and Western NC families are still waiting for Congressman Edwards to take action.
