  1. First detectedJuly 30, 2026
  2. Page updatedJuly 30, 2026

The page provides explicit media-buy instructions—specifying broadcast, OTT/CTV, YouTube, and mail—along with targeting (women primary voters) and message themes. The language is directive ('should let voters know,' 'should focus on') and is addressed to whoever will run the ads, not to voters or journalists. This matches the definition of red-box guidance for an outside group.

Quoted evidence — verbatim spans from the page

  • Voters need to see broadcast at levels matching her opponents, OTT/CTV targeting women primary voters, YouTube ads that highlight Kaela Berg’s background and legislative record, and mail.
Directive specifying media channels, targeting, and message for an outside group to execute.
  • Broadcast and digital spending should let voters know that unlike her opponents, Kaela Berg is a working class candidate who has gone without health care.
Prescribed message theme and channel for paid media, written as an instruction.
  • Any remaining mail should focus on a positive message as laid out above. That said, there should be a smaller amount of real estate that explicitly and by name notes that both of Kaela’s opponents voted with Republicans to give a handout to the health insurance industry.
Detailed guidance on mail content and contrast framing, clearly for an outside spender.

Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional Primary

Updated: July 22nd, 2026

Candidate CPP (Q2, :30s)

Minn/St. Paul –

Overview

As people have already started voting in MN-02, Kaela Berg is well-positioned to win, so long as voters learn more about who she is, her experience as a working class person who’s lived paycheck-to-paycheck and went without healthcare, and how her record is different from the men she’s running against.

Summary

Voters need to see broadcast at levels matching her opponents, OTT/CTV targeting women primary voters, YouTube ads that highlight Kaela Berg’s background and legislative record, and mail.

Broadcast and digital spending should let voters know that unlike her opponents, Kaela Berg is a working class candidate who has gone without health care. She has worked up to three jobs and still works as a flight attendant to make ends meet. That’s why she’s running for Congress. To stand up to the billionaires and corruption in DC making costs higher for all of us. As a state legislator, she’s fought for health care, passed gun violence prevention bills, and landmark worker protections. When the multimillionaires in Washington are more focused on lining their own pockets, Kaela Berg will fight for working people by passing universal health care, bringing down costs, and taking the fight to Donald Trump.
Any remaining mail should focus on a positive message as laid out above. That said, there should be a smaller amount of real estate that explicitly and by name notes that both of Kaela’s opponents voted with Republicans to give a handout to the health insurance industry.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

Kaela authored and passed the bill putting a mental health professional into every public school in the state.

Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional Primary

Updated: Monday May 18th 2026

Candidate CPP (Q2, :30s)

Minn/St. Paul –

OVERVIEW

As voters begin to tune into the competitive primary in MN-02, Kaela Berg is well-positioned to win, so long as voters learn more about who she is, her record of fighting for working families, and what makes her different from the men she’s running against.

SUMMARY

Prior to the fourth week before the August 11th election, voters need to see broadcast, mail, and OTT/CTV and YouTube ads that highlight Kaela Berg’s background and legislative record:

Kaela Berg is different from the multimillionaires in Congress (and her opponents) because she actually knows what it means to struggle. As a mom, Kaela has had to work up to three jobs at once, bought groceries from the dollar store, and lived without health insurance. Even now as a state representative, Kaela still works as a flight attendant to help make ends meet.

When her constituents tell her about what worries them; choosing between rent and medication, holding their breath when they start the car, living one surprise expense from disaster, Kaela doesn’t just sympathize — she understands. Most members of Congress and Kaela’s opponents never had to make those kinds of choices, but she has.

Kaela doesn’t just talk about fighting for working families — she delivers. As a union leader, Kaela helped lead her fellow flight attendants to fight against greedy airlines for good wages, healthcare, and to help make flights safer and more comfortable for everyone. And in the Minnesota State House, Kaela fought for legislation to ban some of the worst corporate union-busting tactics while securing unemployment benefits for striking workers.

In Congress, Kaela will bring that same fight, as she works to lower health care costs, expand access to insurance, end Trump’s chaos and corruption, and make billionaires pay their fair share.

Like her commitment to working families, Kaela’s work on gun safety is personal. After a gunman killed three first-responders in her hometown using illegally purchased AR-15s, Kaela authored legislation making straw purchases of firearms a felony, strengthened the definition of illegal trigger activators, and required state reporting on gun trafficking. After Kaela was put on a hit list for political violence she resolved to run for Congress and bring her commonsense approach to gun safety to Washington.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

Any information voters see or read should be well-researched to determine which messages and frames are most effective.

It’s important for voters to learn more about Kaela but it is also important to look at what voters may need to know about Matt Little down the road.

Unlike some other candidates, Kaela has a long history of fighting for our progressive values – even serving as a Bernie delegate in 2016.
