The page segments voters by age and mobility context ('on the go'), then pairs each segment with explicit directives about what they 'need to know' and how ('straightforward, direct way'). This structure—demographic/behavioral targeting linked to prescribed messaging—is characteristic of red-box guidance to outside spenders on where and how to run ads. The 'on the go' cue suggests mobile/digital media-buy context. Although framed as a campaign page, the functional intent is to instruct an outside group on audience targeting and message delivery.

Quoted evidence — verbatim spans from the page

  • Voters across NY-10, especially voters over 50, need to know the facts about Brad Lander's investments as Comptroller.
Explicit segmentation of audience by age demographic (over 50) paired with directive about what they 'need to know' — a classic red-box signal pairing voter segment with prescribed message.
  • Voters under 45 on the go need to know he bragged about investing in the Israeli weapons manufacturer Elbit
Segmentation by age (under 45) combined with behavioral/channel cue ('on the go') and directive about what they 'need to know' — signals media-buy targeting instruction (mobile/digital context).
  • Voters need to know this information in a straightforward, direct way.
Prescriptive instruction about how to deliver the message to segments, reinforcing that this is guidance on message delivery strategy rather than direct voter persuasion.

Voters across NY-10, especially voters over 50, need to know the facts about Brad Lander’s investments as Comptroller. As Comptroller, Brad Lander oversaw a “major expansion” of investments in billionaire Peter Thiel’s surveillance company Palantir Technologies. Lander used our public funds to help ICE target immigrants, to scan the faces of immigration activists and target them for harassment, to partner with the Israeli government. Palantir provided the targeting information that led the US military to kill 175 Iranian schoolgirls.

Voters under 45 on the go need to know he bragged about investing in the Israeli weapons manufacturer Elbit that was providing the arms to destroy Gaza.

Voters need to know this information in a straightforward, direct way.
